Aromatic Summary / Note / Strength of Aroma: A middle note with a stronger aroma, essential oils from the rose geranium usually have a softer scent with a floral aroma.

Product Abstract: Geranium is a hairy perennial shrub, often used in hedgerows, and will stand up to about one meter (3 feet) high with pointed leaves, serrated at the edges, and flowers that range from red to a pinkish white. Geranium plants originated in South Africa, Madagascar, Egypt, and Morocco and were introduced to European countries in the 17th century. Its petals are used in gourmet jellies and confections. There are over 200 species of geranium that are either scented or unscented.
Cautions: Dilute before use; for external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided.
